Song Three (三下り目 Mi Kudari-me) is one of the Twelve Songs of the Mikagura-uta. It is said to have been composed by Oyasama in the first lunar month of 1867. There was a time when it was referred as "Chapter Three" in English.

三下り目
First, At Shoyashiki in the homeland of the Sun, hitotsu hi no moto Shoyashiki no 一ツ ひのもとしよやしきの
This place for the Service is the origin of the world. Tsutome no Basho wa yo no moto ya つとめのばしよハよのもとや
Second, This marvelous place for the Service, futatsu fushigi na Tsutome Basho wa 二ツ ふしぎなつとめばしよハ
Though I ask no one to build, tare ni tanomi wa kakene domo たれにたのみはかけねども
Third, All gathering together from the world, mittsu mina sekai ga yoriōte 三ツ みなせかいがよりあうて
The construction has been accomplished. deketachi kitaru ga kore fushigi でけたちきたるがこれふしぎ
How miraculous it is!
Fourth, With much effort, you have followed Me thus far; yottsu yōyō koko made tsuite kita 四ツ よう/\こゝまでついてきた
True salvation will begin from now. jitsu no tasuke wa kore kara ya じつのたすけハこれからや
Fifth, Always ridiculed and slandered, itsutsu itsumo waraware soshirarete 五ツ いつもわらはれそしられて
Still I will realize remarkable salvation. mezurashi tasuke o suru hodo ni めづらしたすけをするほどに
Sixth, Never make an unreasonable prayer muttsu muri na negai wa shite kurena 六ツ むりなねがひはしてくれな
Come to Me with a single mind!! hitosuji gokoro ni narite koi ひとすぢごゝろになりてこい
Seventh, Whatever may happen, from now on, nanatsu nandemo kore kara hitosuji ni 七ツ なんでもこれからひとすぢに
I will go single-heartedly leaning on God. Kami ni motarete yuki masuru かみにもたれてゆきまする
Eighth, There is nothing so trying as illness; yattsu yamu hodo tsurai mono wa nai 八ツ やむほどつらいことハない
So from now on, I, too, will devote myself to hinokishin. washi mo kore kara hinokishin わしもこれからひのきしん
Ninth, Though I have believed thus far, kokonotsu koko made shinjin shita keredo 九ツ こゝまでしん/゛\したけれど
I did not know that You are the original God. Moto no Kami towa shirananda もとのかみとハしらなんだ
Finally, This time, You have revealed Yourself. tōdo kono tabi arawareta 十ド このたびあらはれた
No doubt You are the true God. Jitsu no Kami niwa sōinai じつのかみにはさうゐない
