Song Ten (十下り目 To Kudari-me) is one of the Twelve Songs of the Mikagura-uta. It is said to have been composed by Oyasama in 1867. There was a time when it was referred as "Chapter Ten" in English.

十下り目
First, The human mind cannot understand truth easily. hitotsu hito no kokoro to yū mono wa 一ツ ひとのこゝろといふものハ
choto ni wakaran mono naru zo ちよとにわからんものなるぞ
Second, Though I have been working miracles of salvation, futatsu fushigi na tasuke o shite iredo 二ツ ふしぎなたすけをしてゐれど
This is the first time that I reveal Myself. araware deru no ga ima hajime あらはれでるのがいまはじめ
Third, This mud in the water, mittsu mizu no naka naru kono dorō 三ツ みづのなかなるこのどろう
I wish you to take it out quickly. hayaku idashite morai tai はやくいだしてもらひたい
Fourth, Greed is fathomless like muddy water. yottsu yoku ni kiri nai doro mizu ya 四ツ よくにきりないどろみづや
When your mind is completely purified, kokoro sumikire gokuraku ya こゝろすみきれごくらくや
Then comes paradise.
Fifth, Forever this shall become the seed of stories. itsutsu itsuitsu made mo kono koto wa 五ツ いつ/\までもこのことハ
hanashi no tane ni naru hodo ni はなしのたねになるほどに
Sixth, Though I have spoken such severe words, muttsu mugoi kotoba o dashi taru mo 六ツ むごいことばをだしたるも
It is because of My haste to save you. hayaku tasuke o isogu kara はやくたすけをいそぐから
Seventh, Suffering comes from your own mind. nanatsu nangi suru no mo kokoro kara 七ツ なんぎするのもこゝろから
So you should reproach yourself. wagami urami de aru hodo ni わがみうらみであるほどに
Eighth, Though illness is so trying, yattsu yamai wa tsurai mono naredo 八ツ やまひはつらいものなれど
No one has ever known its origin. moto o shiritaru mono wa nai もとをしりたるものハない
Ninth, Until this time all of you equally kokonotsu kono tabi made wa ichiretsu ni 九ツ このたびまでハいちれつに
Have been ignorant of the origin of illness. yamai no moto wa shirenanda やまひのもとハしれなんだ
Finally, This time, it has been revealed. tōdo kono tabi arawareta 十ド このたびあらはれた
The origin of illness lies in your own mind. yamai no moto wa kokoro kara やまひのもとハこゝろから
