This Stand is to be made one block atop another. | kono dai mo dandan dan to tsumi agete | このだいも たん/\/\と つみあけて |
The uppermost is to be two shaku and four sun. | mata sono yue wa ni-shaku shi-sun ni | またそのゆへハ 二尺四すんに |
Place a flat vessel on top, | sono ue e hirabachi nosete oitanara | そのうゑゝ ひらばちのせて をいたなら |
and I shall surely bestow the Food of Heaven. | sore yori tashika jikimotsu o yaro | それよりたしか ぢきもつをやろ |

Stack the layers of the Kanrodai in succession, and the top layer is to be made two feet and four inches across.
