Commentary by Yoshitaro Ueda (2008)
From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 32:35–6
1:14 This verse tells us that if we want our crops to grow healthily and vigorously, we should “do the Kagura Service and the Teodori.” The Kagura Service is the Service that is performed in the Inner Sanctuary. The Teodori is the Dance with Hand Movements and comprises the Eight Verses of the Yorozuyo and the Twelve Songs.
The Kagura Service has a very weighty significance. This verse indicates that the foremost expression of our spiritedness that is acceptable to God the Parent is the Service.
