Commentary by Yoshitaro Ueda (2008)

From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 32:35

1:13 God takes pity on us when our minds are depressed because the depressed minds lead to poor crop yields. Thus, God urges us to quickly become spirited so as not to adversely affect crop growth. If humans become spirited, God will also be spirited. When God is spirited, more and more blessings can be received. This is how things are interrelated.
