From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 34:49
With regard to the Service, Part IV discusses assembling its performers, collecting the kagura masks, teaching the hand movements, and so forth. The verse here addresses the frame of mind in which to perform the Service, the phrase “Truly be spirited” meaning to “be high-spirited from the depths of the mind.” The verse then says to ponder–which implies the need to ponder deeply over God’s intention, awaken to it, and resolve. God wants people to let go of the ego, rely totally on God, and perform the Joyous Service. Placing total reliance on God requires letting go of the ego.
