From Michi no Dai: Foundation of the Path 33:53
God will show one miracle after another. Please recall what I said a while ago about the meaning of "fushigina tasuke." The word “miracles” here is meant to refer to things and events that are unfathomable or inscrutable by human reasoning. God shows such occurrences in order to hasten salvation. Verses 101 to 104 each contain the word “hasten.” There is a strong sense of urgency as well as impatience.
