Because you have not obeyed the words of God	ima made mo Kami no yō koto kikan kara	いまゝでも　神のゆう事　きかんから
even until now, I could not avoid showing it.	zehi naku omote arawashita nari	ぜひなくおもて　あらハしたなり

1:26 I have given you My caution time after time until now, but since you have not made use of them in the slightest, I had no choice but to reveal (your misuse of mind) into the open where people can see it. *Note: Oyasama’s son Shuji had long suffered from a severe leg ailment in which his pain would become acute from time to time. Oyasama had previously instructed him that this was not a disease but the admonition of Oyagami, urged him to fully repent and replace his mind, and hastened the cleaning of the Residence. Oyagami’s strict instruction directed to Shuji must not only be seen and understood as an admonition directed to Shuji himself but as an example to all human beings.

『おふでさき註釈』、p. 9 二六、これまでも度々戒めてあるのに、少しも用いないから、止むなく表面人の目につくように現したのである。 註　教祖の長男秀司先生は、長年患うておられる足部の疾患が容易にいえないで、時々痛みがはげしくなる。教祖はこれに対して、病気ではない、親神様の御意見だから、十分さんげして心を改めるように教戒せされ、屋敷の掃除をお急き込みになられたのである。以下、秀司先生に対する親神様の厳しいお諭しは、秀司先生個人に対する御意見と考えず、それを雛形にして、総ての人々に教戒せられたものと解しなければならない。
