Third Edition

What I, Tsukihi, think now is spoken through Her mouth. Human is the mouth that speaks, but divine is the mind that thinks within.

Listen attentively to Me! It is because I, Tsukihi, borrow Her mouth, while I, Tsukihi, lend My mind to Her.

Inoue/Eynon

The mouth that now reveals Tsuki-Hi’s thoughts is human, but the mind within is that of Tsuki-Hi.

Listen carefully! I, Tsuki-Hi, have borrowed Her mouth; and I, Tsuki-Hi, have lent My mind to Her.

12:67, 68 *Note: Because Oyasama was physically a human being, there may be a tendency to take what She says as something coming from an ordinary human mouth. However, this verse is conveying that Oyasama is the Shrine of Oyagami, and all the matters that are spoken through Oyasama’s mouth are the words of Oyagami and that Oyasama’s mind is the manifestation of God the Oyagami’s mind. Refer to note for 7:54–56.
