Until now, the high mountains, boastful, | ima made wa takayama ya tote kenken to | いまゝてハ 高山やとて けん/\と |
have noisily done as they pleased. | mama ni shiteita koto de aredomo | まゝにしていた 事てあれども |
From now on, however high the mountains may be, | kore kara wa ika hodo takai yama demo na | これからハ いかほどたかい 山でもな |
