If only the innermost hearts of all humankind | ichiretsu no mune no uchi sai sukiyaka ni | いちれつの むねのうちさい すきやかに |
are swept clean, | sōji shitateta koto de aru nara | そふちしたてた 事であるなら |
Then, the whole world will be spirited | sore kara wa sekaijū wa ki ga isamu | それからわ せかいぢううハ きがいさむ |
and joyousness will come of its own accord. | yōkizukume ni hitori naru zo ya | よふきづくめに ひとりなるぞや |
