Content

I shall distinguish those thoughts which are sincere	shinjitsu ni omou kokoro to mēmē no	しんぢつに　をもう心と　めゑ／＼の
from those which are concerned with only the self.	shiyan bakari o omoi iru to o	しやんばかりをふもいゝるとを

Whatever kind of mind you may have,	Tsukihi ni wa dono yona kokoro iru mono mo	月日にハ　どのよな心　いるものも
Tsukihi will at this time make the distinction clear.	kono tabi shika to wakete miseru de	このたびしかと　わけてみせるで

Tsukihi clearly sees what kind of mind you have	dono yōna kokoro mo shika to miteiru de	どのよふな　心もしかと　みているで
and will at this time make the distinction in all.	Tsukihi kono tabi mina wakeru de na	月日このたび　みなわけるでな

Third Edition

I will clearly distinguish the minds which think sincerely of others from those which think of themselves.

This time, I, Tsukihi, will distinguish clearly, whatever kinds of minds you may have.

I see clearly whatever kinds of minds you may have. So, this time, I, Tsukihi, will clearly distinguish all of them.

I shall clearly distinguish between the sincere mind and the selfish mind.

No matter what kind of mind you may have, I, Tsuki-Hi, shall now clearly show how I judge.

11:5–7 I, Oyagami, will be always be watching whether your thoughts are sincerely directed toward the path and the world or are self-centered. At this time, I shall clearly distinguish the manner which you have used your minds by having it appear on your body, no matter what your thoughts may be.

『おふでさき註釈』、p. 166 五―七、真実に道を思い世を思う心と、我が身思案している心と、どのような心も親神は常々確かに見届けているから、どのような心でいる者も、この度は各人々々の心づかいをそれぞれの身上に現して、判然と区別して見せるであろう。
