Third Edition

How are you listening to this talk? Now I am going to tell you about the Kanrōdai-no-Tsutome, the Service around the Kanrōdai.

Never regard it as a trivial Service! I desire to assemble thirty-six persons to begin with.

In due time I shall need nineteen persons to perform the Kagura-Zutome, the Service with the Holy Masks, including those who play the musical instruments.

Inoue/Eynon

What are you thinking as you listen to My words? I am referring to the Service around the Kanrodai.

Do not think of this Service as insignificant. I need as many as thirty-six celebrants.

In addition, I need nineteen others as celebrants for the Kagura Service, including musicians.

10:25–27 How are you hearing this talk? You must not think of this Service of the Kanrodai as a simple ceremony/ritual. The number of performers for the Teodori are thirty-six, plus ten more persons for the Kagura and nine persons for the Narimono for a total of nineteen persons.

10:26, 27 *Note: The Service performers indicated by Oyagami are:
Kagura: 10 persons
Narimono (musical instruments): 9 persons
Teodori: 36 persons (6 persons in one group)
Further, there are 20 people designated as “gakunin” for a total of 75 persons.
