6:9 There perhaps is no one who grasps My intention, the true intention of original Parent and God who created this world.

*Note: “Tsukihi” refers to Tenri-O-no-Mikoto, God of Origin, God in Truth.

九、この世を創めた元の親神の真の心を会得している者は、だれもなかろう。

註 月日は、元の神、実の神、天理王命様の事である。

From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 35:66–7

This verse marks the first time the term “Tsukihi” (Moon-Sun) is used in the Ofudesaki to refer to God the Parent. With regard to the terms “God,” “Tsukihi,” and “Parent,” as you are aware, God the Parent is referred to in the Ofudesaki first as “God,” next as “Tsukihi” starting in verse 9 of Part VI, and then as “Parent,” with a verse in Part XIV saying, “Until now, I taught you by the name Tsukihi, but from today I shall use another name” (XIV:29). In this Scripture, verse VI:9 is the first verse to use the term “Tsukihi” to refer to God the Parent. The meaning of the verse, then, is that there probably is no one who knows the truth of the intention or mind of God the Parent, who created this universe.
