Commentary by Yoshitaro Ueda (2009)
From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 34:58
Here again “children” may refer to those who follow the path. The word “truly,” which is a translation of “shinjitsu yori mo,” implies “from the depths of the mind.” If we look at all the instances of the phrase “shinjitsu yori mo” in the original, I think we will see that it has the meaning “truly from the depths of the mind” or “truly from the innermost heart.” Once the true sincerity in the innermost heart has been ascertained–which is to say, once the achievement of spiritual growth has been confirmed–God will make all preparations and arrangements.
