Commentary by Yoshitaro Ueda (2008)
From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 34:53
People at the Residence are afraid of the “high places”–referring to the authorities or those in positions of power. Fearing enforcement action by the police, they are daunted and dispirited. The verse encourages these people saying that God assures them that there is no need to be afraid, for God undertakes to protect them.
