Commentary
Commentary by Yoshitaro Ueda (2008)
From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 34:42–3
We are told that if the minds of all people in the world become spirited, God’s mind will also become spirited. A very important characteristic of the Tenrikyo teachings is that God and humankind are seen as the Parent and children, their relationship being one of mutual response. If we humans become spirited, God will also become spirited. If God becomes spirited, more and more blessings will be manifested. It is important to perform the Service in a way that will allow God to be spirited. This done, we will be able to receive more and more blessings. That is also part of our relationship with God.
