The present path is covered with dust. ima mo michi hokori darake de aru kara ni いまのみち ほこりだらけで あるからに
Take up a broom and do the sweeping. hōke o mochite sōji o shitate ほふけをもちて そうぢをしたて

The “present path,” the path being followed now, is covered with dust. The verse says to take up a broom and sweep.
