Commentary by Yoshitaro Ueda (2008)
From Michi no Dai: Foundation of the Path 33:58
We are borrowing the body from God. We can only use it as if it were our own because we receive God’s providence that looks after it. The verse cautions that our misuse of the mind could lead to a situation where there is no telling when or where God might go—that is, it could lead to the unexpected withdrawal of God’s providence.
