Ofudesaki chushaku

3:106 I wish to establish the core of faith after the cleansing of people’s hearts is accomplished. Once this is done, peace will settle in this world.

『おふでさき註釈』、p. 47

一〇六、人々の胸の掃除が出来たその後は、信仰の中心を定めたい。これさえ出来たら、この世の中は治まりがつくのである。

Commentary by Yoshitaro Ueda (2008)

From Michi no Dai: Foundation of the Path 33:54

The word “pillar” here refers to the Kanrodai, which is to be set up quickly. Once it is set up, the world will settle. Setting up the Kanrodai allows a settling to come to the world. Verse 13 of Part III says, “If only the pillar is firmly established, the whole world will truly settle.” Putting in the Kanrodai will enable the world to truly settle. Such is the Kanrodai.
