There is nothing at all which should be called illness. | nani ni temo yamai to yū tesara ni nashi | なにゝても やまいとゆうて さらになし |

There is no such thing as illness, whatever the condition is. The “mistaken mind” or a mistaken use of the mind is the cause of what we see as an illness. The next verse goes into detail of the “paths of the mistaken mind.”
