From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 32:44
1:57 This verse ways that God will tell us about humankind’s journey from the beginnings of origin to the present in its entirety and in detail. We are urged to ponder over it deeply. In addition, I think that this verse implies that God will teach, not only about the past, but also about our journey into the future—i.e., the path leading to the realization of the Joyous Life.
In the Divine Directions, we read, “Because it continues, it can be called a path.” No matter how wide a path is, it will not take us to our destination if it is cut in the middle. Again, if we do not actually walk the path, it will not help us reach our destination. This metaphor can provide various insights.
