sato sato Ta-Oto Ta-Oto Byosama Byosama

さと／＼　たをと／＼　びよさま／＼

If this talk coincides sign for sign,	kono hanashi aizu tate-ai deta naraba	このはなし　あいづたてやい　てたならば
know that everything proceeds in this way.	nani ni tsuitemo mina kono dōri	なにゝついても　みなこのとふり

I earnestly request each and everyone of you	kore obana ichiretsu shiyan tanomu de	これをはな　一れつ心しやん　たのむで
to ponder deeply over these teachings.

I earnestly request each and everyone of you equally to ponder seriously over these teachings in your mind.

Once My revelation appears as a sign in your life, then everything will occur as I have prophesied.

17:73–75 *Note: “Sato, Sato” (home village) refers to the Maegawa household where Oyasama was born. “Ta-oto, Ta-oto” refers to Shuji’s illegitimate son Otojiro who married into the branch family of the Murata household in Ta Village. “Byo-sama, Byo-sama” refers to the Kohigashi household in Byodoji Village where Shuji’s wife Matsue was born. The three aforementioned households could not have been described as being particularly devoted to the path at that time. These verses go on to warn that despite being related with Oyasama, if these three households are late in embarking on the path of single-hearted devotion to God, they will no longer be able to receive God’s full protection. These verses go on to encourage us to fully ponder when the noted signs appear and the principle of wrongdoing comes into motion, as all things will occur in accordance with what has been said before. The last verse then encourages us to fully ponder on this matter; not to turn our backs against God’s intention, not be late in implementing what God hastens us to do; and advance spiritedly on the path of single-hearted salvation as we firmly condition the Teaching of single-hearted devotion to God in our minds.

『おふでさき註釈』、p. 252–3 七三～七五、註　さと／＼とは、教祖の生家前川家を指し、たをと／＼は、秀司先生の庶子で、田村の村田某（田甚）の分家への養子に行かれた音次郎氏のこと、びよさま／＼とは、秀司先生の奥様まつゑ様の生家平等寺村の小東家を指されたものである。 右に挙げた三家は、当時いずれもお道に対しては熱心という訳には行かなかった。このお歌は、神一条の道に遅れるならば、たとい親戚の者でも十分守護する訳に行かぬ、とお戒しめになったもので、合図立て合いとなって、悪い理が回って来たならば、何についても皆この通りになるから、皆の者は、よく思案せよ、と仰せになっている。 ここのところをよく思案して、我々は、神意に背かぬよう、神意の急き込みに遅れぬよう、しっかりと神一条の御教を心に体して、たすけ一条の道に勇んで進まして頂かねばならぬ。
