Ofudesaki 16:038–9 is a set of verses from the Ofudesaki. The English translation below is the sixth edition translation.


Though until now no one has known ima made wa hito no kokoro no shinjitsu o いまゝでハ 人の心の しんちつを
the truth of the human mind, tare ka shiritaru mono wa nakere do たれかしりたる ものハなけれど
This time, as God is openly revealed, kono tabi wa Kami ga omote e deteru kara このたびハ 神がをもてい でゝるから
I shall teach you everything about all matters. donna koto demo mina oshieru de どんな事でも みなをしゑるで

Although until now there has been no one who knows the truth of the human mind,

This time because I, God, reveal Myself to the fore, I will teach everything whatever it may be.


Until now, there has been no one who has really understood the true nature of the human mind.

Now that I, God, have come forth into the world, I shall teach you everything there is to know.
