Thirty-eight years ago, Tsukihi descended	Tsukihi yori sanjū-hachi-nen izen ni te	月日より　三十八ねん　いぜんにて
because of the causality of origin.	ama-kudari taru moto no innen	あまくだりたる　元のいんねん

7:1 Thirty-eight years ago from now, I, the true God, descended due to the Causality of Jiba, the Causality of Oyasama’s soul, and the arrival of the Promised Time. *Note: Thirty-eight years before this verse was written, that is, on 10/26 (lunar) 1838, Oyagami descended and received Oyasama as the Shrine of God.

『おふでさき註釈』、p. 114 一、今から三十八年以前、ぢばのいんねん、おやさま魂のいんねん、及び旬刻限の到来によって、真実の親神が天降ったのである。 註　当時から三十八年以前、即ち天保九年十月二十六日、親神様がおやさまを神のやしろとして天降り給うた事を、仰せられているのである。
