*Note: “Villagers” (murakata) refer to the people who lived in what was formerly known as Shoyashiki Village (currently the site of Tenrikyo Church Headquarters).

From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 34:56

The subject of the verbal phrase “hasten to save” is God. God desires to hasten the salvation of “the villagers.” To this end, God is urging people to ponder.
