Commentary
Commentary by Yoshitaro Ueda (2008)
From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 32:43
1:54 This verse tells us that in order to ensure that we will not be remorseful later, we should calm our mind thoroughly and ponder deeply. This instruction implies that, if we are negligent in this regard, we might later regret having accumulated dust without being aware that we are doing so.
