1:18 In all matters, it is normal in the world at large to talk of something once it comes to be seen. However, I, Oyagami, do not only teach of things that can be seen but also things that will appear in the future. So though there may be something among My words that you may not be able to understand with the human mind, you must not make a premature judgment and doubt or deny what I say. Believe in My words and wait for the day when they become reality.

Commentary by Yoshitaro Ueda (2008)

From Michi no dai: Foundation of the Path 32:36

1:18 It is the way of the world to talk about things after they appear and become apparent to the eyes. In contrast, God teaches of things even before they appear and become visible. When things God speaks about come true, we can be convinced of the truth of God’s teachings.
