Third Edition

This world was a muddy ocean. And therein was I, Tsukihi, living alone.

I, Tsukihi, was struck by an idea, imagining how hopeful it would be to create the world.

It is indeed difficult to create a world which does not exist. I prepared to find what could be used as instruments.

Looking carefully through the muddy ocean, I found loaches, a fish and a serpent and others, too.

I called those together and conferred with them how to begin to create human beings.

Because, I, Tsukihi, have endeavored step by step to create this world which did not exist.

Inoue/Eynon

The world was brought forth out of the muddy seas, in which I, Tsuki-Hi, previously existed alone.

Then the sincere thought came to Me, Tsuki-Hi: how wonderful it would be if I created the human world!

It was difficult to create the world from nothing. Therefore, I made preparations to somehow find instruments.

Looking carefully through the muddy seas, I discerned many mudfish, a merman, a white snake and other beings.

After I drew all these beings around Me, I consulted them so as to create human beings according to My Providence.

In order to create the world from nothing I, Tsuki-Hi, have constantly dedicated My heart.

6:80–85 The beginning of this world was a muddy ocean. Therein was only Tsukihi. At that time, the following idea came to Tsukihi: “There is no delight in just the two of us. Let us make a world for human beings.” Yet it was quite a difficult task to begin the world out from where it did not exist. Upon looking through the muddy ocean to find instruments to use in the creation of the world and human beings, Tsukihi saw there were loaches, a fish, a serpent, and other instruments. Then, after summoning them and discussing the matter with them, it was finally decided to embark on the creation of human beings. In this way, humans came to be because Tsukihi exerted our mind gradually from the thought to create them and the world from where they did not exist.
