65. Drawn Here to Be Used The following incident happened around June 1879. Oyasama used to say every night: "I need a personal attendant. I need one." The intermediaries, Gisaburo Nakata, Chusaku Tsuji and Rihachi Yamamoto, after discussing the matter, consulted Shuji. Whereupon he suggested, "Rin should be a suitable person." So promptly the next morning at ten o'clock, Shuji and Nakata, followed by Rin Masui, went to see Oyasama to receive her approval. Shuji explained. Oyasama immediately gave these words: "At once, at once, at once, at once. Drawn here to be used. At once, at once, at once. Quickly, quickly. You are overdue. You are overdue. Sah, sah, be joyful, be joyful. Whatever you do, do it with the thought that you are serving God. Whatever you do God will accept ten thousandfold. Sah, sah, quickly, quickly, quickly. At once, at once, at once." In this way Rin served Oyasama as Her personal attendant from that night until Oyasama withdrew Her physical being in 1887.

六五　用に使うとて　 明治十二年六月頃のこと。教祖が、毎晩のお話の中で、 　 「守りが要る、守りが要る。」 と、仰せになるので、取次の仲田儀三郎、辻忠作、山本利八等が相談の上、秀司に願うたところ、「おりんさんが宜かろう。」という事になった。 　 そこで、早速、翌日の午前十時頃、秀司、仲田の後に、増井りんがついて、教祖のところへお伺いに行った。秀司から、事の由を申し上げると、教祖は、直ぐに、 　 「直ぐ、直ぐ、直ぐ、直ぐ。用に使うとて引き寄せた。直ぐ、直ぐ、直ぐ。早く、早く。遅れた、遅れた。さあ／＼楽しめ、楽しめ。どんな事するのも、何するも、皆、神様の御用と思うてするのやで。する事、なす事、皆、一粒万倍に受け取るのやで。さあ／＼早く、早く、早く。直ぐ、直ぐ、直ぐ。」 と、お言葉を下された。 かくて、りんは、その夜から、明治二十年、教祖が御身をかくされるまで、お側近く、お守役を勤めさせて頂いたのである。
