2. At Every Revelation Uttered In October 1838, when the divine truth was first revealed, daughter Omasa was fourteen years old, and daughter Okimi (later called Oharu) was eight. Later, recalling their mother's changed demeanor, the two said, "We were so frightened at the utterance of every revelation that we threw ourselves into each other's arms, trembling and pulling the quilt over our heads." |
二 お言葉のある毎に 天保九年十月の立教の時、当時十四才と八才であったおまさ、おきみ（註、後のおはる）の二人は、後日この時の様子を述懐して、「私達は、お言葉のある毎に、余りの怖さに、頭から布団をかぶり、互いに抱き付いてふるえていました。」 と述べている。 |
