The first edition (presently out of print) was published in 1989. It collects seven sermons and two major addresses the third Shinbashira Zenye Nakayama gave between 1980 and 1988.[1] In the Foreword, there is a note that reads:
- English-speaking followers in the [North] America and Hawaii dioceses expressed an earnest desire to have [the Shinbashira’s sermons and addresses] into a single volume. We have therefore received the Shinbashira's approval to publish this book in response to their request.[2]
1986–1995
In commemoration of the 110th Anniversary of Oyasama (1996), a 1986–1995 edition was published, which collects Zenye Nakayama’s sermons addresses he gave between those years. This edition reprints six of the seven sermons and one major address that was included in the first edition.[3]
