The International Hinokishin Corps (abbr. IHC; Japanese インターナショナルひのきしん隊, hinokishin-tai) is a 7-day Hinokishin event, on July 18th to 24th, which occurs every three years at the Jiba; however, its occurrence adjusts to land on the years which Oyasama's Anniversaries are celebrated. This event was proposed to allow followers from overseas to have a similar experience to Oyasato Construction Young Men’s Association Hinokishin Corps, a month-long Hinokishin activity for, generally, Japanese followers to do Hinokishin in preparation for the major annual Tenrikyo events.[1]

The purpose of this activity was explained by the 4th Shinbashira, Zenji Nakayama:

“I believe the regular corps and the International Hinokishin Corps share the same spirit. . . . Both of them have continued and will continue with the determination to keep serving until the Oyasato-yakata building-complex is completed.”[1]
